Based in the great city of Asheville, NC, Blues Forgotten was formed in 2004 and has steadily grown into a dynamic ensemble that is constantly working to create a thorough and cathartic musical experience. Though Rock, Jazz, and Blues comprise the foundation of our sound, we explore a wide range of musical styles from around the world. Rather than define ourselves as a particular type of band, we strive to provide a total musical experience that truly offers something for everyone.

Art must constantly reinvent itself to remain relevant, and we subscribe to the belief that true wisdom is knowing that one can never know it all - for when learning stops so does our growth as artists and individuals. We learn, create and explore every time we play and the experience is meant to be shared with our listeners. Dueling guitars, fat basslines and a driving percussion will force you to groove to the tunes.

Blues Forgotten continues to be a force to be reckoned with. The band has performed at the Asheville Civic Center, as well as the Grey Eagle Music Hall. Using diversity as there ally, they are able to blend with almost any act they are billed with. The band continues to grow both musically and spiritually. Look for them to be playing in a town near you!
